Do you have to shave your head when you don't want dreads anymore? - Dreadlocks FAQ's
Nope! There's no need to shave your head or even cut your hair short when removing dreadlocks. Check out our dreadlocks removal cream called Dread Zasta that makes removing dreadlocks,(even the most mature dreads) totally possible! Normally the tips of the dreadlocks are trimmed off and then the dread is combed out after being saturated with Dread Zasta and then rinsed and dried.
Your hair will be somewhat fro-like when the dreads are first taken out but with a few washing and some deep conditioner it will often be difficult to tell it was ever in dreads!
Dread Zasta can also be used if dreads have been started with other methods that only partially worked. It's often a good idea to remove the previously attempted dreads with Dread Zasta before restarting them with our Dread Kit. This totally eliminates the need to cut and re-grow your hair before you can dread up! =]
